Before we give you the recipes, we want to bring up one really important tip: Plan before you go.
Make sure that you have a plan. Where are you going, what equipment are you going to have and how far to you have to travel to the camp site. Obviously, if you are pulling up to the campsite and can take coolers of food, is going to be a much different food list than if you have to hike 25 miles to your site with a backpack on you.
We are focusing this post on being able to have a campfire and equipment to cook on easily accessible.
Vegan Camping Recipes for Breakfast
If you have a large skillet, your possibilities are endless. We love a tofu scramble or breakfast skillet, both of which you can put into tortillas for vegan breakfast burritos.
Overnight oats (or warm oatmeal again if you have a fire) are great since you can prep them completely ahead.
For the sweet potatoes, we’d recommend cooking sweet potatoes ahead of your trip and packing them already cooked.
Vegan Camping Recipes for Dinner (or Lunch)
Again, if you have the fire and skillet, you can have endless possibilities. One of our favorite skillet meals is the first recipe below and it would be great over a camp fire.
Stuffed recipes are so darn good and allows you to get really creative. We would recommend making the mixtures ahead of time and then just heating up over the fire before stuffing.
You can put anything inside of a tortilla shell to make a wrap which makes them perfect for camping. The first recipe uses all cold ingredients, which is great if you don’t have heat access or don’t want to make a fire. For the last recipe, we’d recommend making the mixture before heading out and heating up over the fire.
Vegan Camping Recipes for Snacks
All of these snack recipes would be perfect for camping. Make them all ahead of time and pack them up and eat as needed!
Vegan Camping Recipes for Dessert
Grab your skillet and get cooking for the first 3 skillet recipes which are so good over the fire, or prep the last two ahead of time and take with you.
