These copycat Chick-fil-A Veggie Wraps are something we created after realizing how easy it would be after trying one for ourselves at a local Chick-fil-A.

For those of you who are unaware, you can purchase a wrap at Chick-fil-A that is completely wrap.

It is not on the menu. Some stores know it simply as asking for a “veggie wrap”. Other stores, you need to ask for a “cool wrap without chicken or cheese”.

One of the best things about being at home is that you can completely customize these to any ingredients that you have on hand at home.

Chick Fil A Veggie Wrap Ingredients

These wraps are so customizable, so you can pick and choose to omit or add anything. However, the standard recipe that you would get at the restaurant are:

  • Corn
  • Black beans
  • Carrots
  • Red cabbage
  • Lettuce
  • Tomatoes
  • Flaxseed Flat Bread
  • Vegan Cheese

Beyond that anything extra that you want to add or omit is completely up to you.

In the photos we didn’t have red cabbage so we added spinach. We also added vegan cheese since we are at home and have that option.

You could also add any seasonings, avocado, bean sprouts, and so much more.

Veggie Wrap Variations

While this particular recipe is mimicking the veggie wrap that you can get from Chick-Fil-A, there are so many variations to switch up the vegetables or wraps.

Wrap Variations

We are using regular tortillas but you can also use:

  • Whole wheat, flaxseed, spinach, tomato, or gluten-free tortillas
  • Lettuce wraps, large collard green or Swiss chard leaves
  • Nori sheets (for a sushi-style wrap)

Leafy Greens

Swap the lettuce for other leafy greens like spinach arugula, kale, mixed greens, microgreens or sprouts.

Crunchy Vegetables

Keep or swap the carrots with other crunchy options like cucumbers, bell peppers, radishes, or celery.

Other Vegetables

Again keep or swap the tomatoes and corn for things like avocado, pickles (or other pickled vegetables), mushrooms, zucchini or squash, eggplant, sweet potatoes or beets.

Flavor Enhancer

Things like onions, scallions, garlic, jalapenos, banana peppers, and olives, and spice blends are things that can add big flavor with minimal effort.

Whatever option you choose, make sure to try to keep the ingredients in similar shapes and size for eating purposes. You’ll also want to keep in mind whether you like your ingredients cooked or raw.

How to store a Veggie Wrap (Chick Fil A Copycat)

Because of the tomatoes, it’s best not to make them up more than 24 hours in advance. However, you could shred the carrots and chop lettuce 3-5 days in advance to be ready to go when you need.

Can Copycat Chick-fil-A Veggie Wraps be frozen?

We don’t recommend freezing for these.

There are endless possibilities to serve with this vegan lunch recipe.

We often love to just serve it with fries or potato chips, like these crunchy kale chips, or a light salad.
