    Frequently Asked Questions

Can I make this Top 8 Allergen Free?

Yes! While we use flour tortillas in our photos, you could use a gluten free wrap of your choice.

Alternatively, if you want to keep it plant based, you could make this with collard green wraps or with just lettuce wraps.

    Can I prep these ahead?

Yes. The key here is to not use any soggy ingredients like tomatoes or pickles and not to put the sauce on the wraps itself but serve as a dipping sauce.

As long as you don’t do any of those things, you can add these to meal prep containers and they will last 2 days.

Another options, especially with peppers and carrots, is to precut them and store in a jar of water in the fridge and then just dry off before adding to your wrap. This way it’s done and ready to go, saving you cutting time when ready to make.

Should these wraps be served hot or cold?

They are designed to be served cold; however, they can definitely be warmed up and eaten that way as well.

Can I swap out the vegetables used in the wraps?

Absolutely. Some great options would be cucumbers, corn, red onions, and vegan cheese. If you are making to eat right away, things like pickles and tomatoes would make a great option as well.

What is a good sauce to go with these wraps?

We are pretty biased, but we think the best sauces to go with these are our homemade vegan BBQ sauce or homemade vegan ranch dressing.

If you are looking for a unique spin on things try our homemade vegan blueberry BBQ sauce or our vegan tartar sauce for a tangy twist.

    Are vegan wraps healthy?

These do use flour burritos shells, which standardly run around 200 calories for one wrap. Depending on your health goals, then that may be a lot for you.

Otherwise they are very healthy with a mix of plant based proteins and vegetables.

Alternatively, to make even healthier you can use a collard green wrap.

    What is a good lunchbox?

The one that we have is from Target and honestly not great for anything even semi-liquid like a pizza sauce. The seals are tight so it leaks. So for something like this we would recommend one of the following styles:

    • Rubbermaid Lunchblox
    • Sistema to Go Bento Box
    • Bentgo Lunch Box
