WHAT 2 INGREDIENTS DO YOU NEED TO MAKE A NO YEAST VEGAN PIZZA DOUGH?
You may actually be surprised at what the two ingredients are.
All you need are flour and coconut cream (the thick, fatty part for the top of canned coconut milk).
That’s it!
Were you surprised that coconut cream was the second ingredient?
What is the best flour to use for 2 Ingredient Yeast Free Vegan Pizza Dough?
We prefer using bread flour for this vegan dough recipe; however, all purpose or wheat flour would also work.
Even a mix of half all-purpose and half whole wheat will work with this recipe.
We have tested this recipe with King Arthur Gluten Free Measure for Measure flour and it worked.
What is the best canned coconut milk?
We have, surprisingly, found Target brand to be the best coconut milk when it comes to have a lot of cream. Usually it doesn’t even have to be refrigerated to get enough cream off.
For other brands, you need to refrigerate the can overnight and the cream will rise to the top.
Then, carefully remove from fridge without shaking up and open up to get the cream off the top.
How do you make 2 Ingredient Yeast Free Vegan Pizza Dough?
First, preheat your oven to 550 degrees F. If you have a pizza stone, place it in the oven to heat up.
Add flour to a large bowl.
Make a well in the middle of your flour.
Then add your coconut cream.
Use a spatula to combine your ingredients together until a ball almost completely forms.
Turn out your dough ball onto a lightly flour surface and knead together for a few minutes, adding a tablespoon more flour at a time, until you no longer have a sticky dough ball.
Lay out a sheet of parchment paper and sprinkle corn flour down (or more flour that you are using).
Place your dough ball on the paper and roll out into a circle.
Use your fingers to lightly indent a crust about ½ inch into the pizza dough.
Add sauce lightly, especially in the middle. Don’t add too much or you will have a soggy dough.
Add your desired toppings.
In the photo we added sauce, vegan mozzarella and parmesan, sliced bell peppers, red onions, garlic and basil.
Carefully transfer your dough to the pizza stone in the oven or place on a baking sheet.
Bake pizza for 8-12 minutes or until starting to turn golden brown on the crust.
Remove from oven and brush the crust with vegan butter if desired.
Let cool and slice and serve.
Can I prep this 2 ingredient vegan pizza dough ahead of time?
Yes. You could make the dough ball and let it sit in the fridge for up to 3 days before making.
You can also fully make your pizza and eat it within 3 days once made. Make sure to store in an air tight container in the fridge.
Can I make this a Top 8 Allergen free Recipe?
Both ingredients in this recipe are top 8 allergens.
We have tested this recipe with King Arthur Gluten Free Measure for Measure flour and it worked.
We recommend that you make a thin crust if using gluten free flour. Potentially even making 2 thin crusts from this recipe instead of just one, simply because of have dense/chewy gluten free flour blends make pizza.
You could make this recipe with any dairy free milk or water, but it wouldn’t be quite the same. But definitely possible.

Hello for the flour can I use another flour instead, like coconut flour, almond flour, potato starch? And is it ok to use the Target Version of canned coconut milk instead of coconut cream? Because they have been out of the coconut cream for a while. Please let me know thanks!
LarishaBernard
Target brand is fine. As far as other flours, we haven’t tried anything besides gluten free 1:1 blend.

It didn’t work for me. Spent a good 5-7 min trying to get the coconut cream and flour to mix together, and no luck . Just crumbles. It was with gf flour, and waited about an hour or so before using the coconut cream being it was rock hard solid when I took it out of the fridge, but alas, it was a huge failure. I’ll try it again if someone can give me some fault finding tips.
LarishaBernard
If you coconut cream was rock hard, you need to let it softened. It has to be thick but spreadable to combine with the flour. If it’s still crumbly, then you may need to add more coconut cream or a splash of other non-dairy milk to get the consistency in the video

My husband loves when I make this pizza dough. And I love how easy it is to make.

Easy and quick! I added a shake or two of Italian seasoning to the flour. I don’t have much luck with getting homemade thin pizzas to cook in the center, so next time I will prick the bottom and par bake the crust before topping to ensure doneness.

Thanks for leaving a review. We have found the biggest thing with homemade crusts is to go supperrrrrr light on sauce in the middle.

I followed the recipe using spelt flour.. not my favorite but the softest my pizza dough has ever been. I will add spices to the flour dough next time. Thank you 🙂
