What cookies are vegan?

If you have only recently gone vegan, or perhaps you are here because you are recently dairy or egg free for allergy reasons, you may not think that cookies can ever be safe for you to eat again.

Luckily, the answer is that almost any cookie can be vegan.

It’s true that most cookies contain butter (dairy) and eggs; however, with just a few simple switches they can be completely vegan.

There are so many different vegan butter options.  Egg substitutes can be replaced with anything from flaxseed to applesauce depending on the recipe and use.

Thankfully, we’ve taken all the guess work out of it for you. We’re sharing almost 3 dozen recipes that are super delicious.

How long do vegan cookies usually last?

A good rule of thumb is that you can store most vegan cookies in an air-tight container and they will last for approximately 7 days. This is not guaranteed, but just a good rule of thumb.

What is the best way to store vegan cookies?

In an air-tight container out on your counter is the best way to store these.  A good tip is to store them with a sliced piece of bread inside the container to help them not dry out.
