🥘Recipe Ingredients
Gather your ingredients!
- Non Dairy Milk – Any non-dairy milk will work, but we specifically like to choose something higher in protein, like soy milk for this recipe
- Ginger – Fresh ginger is preferred over ginger powder for this recipe
- Banana – we recommend using frozen bananas for a cold, creamier smoothie without having to add even more ice.
- Dates – an optional ingredient, but we enjoy the little bit of natural sweetness to the smoothie
See my recipe card below for a complete list of the ingredients with measurements.
Substitutions and Variations:
- Non Dairy Milk – Besides soy milk, we’d also recommend canned coconut milk or fresh coconut milk if making by hand
- Ginger – You can use powdered ginger for this if that’s all you have on hand
- Banana -a non-frozen banana will still work
- Dates – could sub with agave, maple syrup, or date syrup
- Silken Tofu – if looking to add protein to this smoothie, we’d recommend silken tofu for this particular one
