This vegan mango avocado smoothie is the perfect combination of sweet and creamy.  Good healthy fats ensure you stayed filled for longer.

If you have never tried a vegan green smoothie, then you are missing out! This vegan mango avocado smoothie is the best!

A few years ago, green smoothies became all the rage. And for a good reason.

They are loaded with a combination of ingredients that are super healthy for you and can really give you an extra boost of nutrients.

Depending on what you put into your green smoothie, depends on what nutrients that may be.

Some people, however, are turned off by the green color and refuse to even try a vegan green smoothie.

Really, it’s just another color on the rainbow spectrum and doesn’t mean that it can’t taste as good as any vegan fruit smoothie that may happen to be pink, purple, or yellow. All colors that seem to be appealing.

What is a vegan green smoothie?

Essentially, a vegan green smoothie is just a fruit smoothie that you add dark leafy greens too.

Fruit helps to balance the sometimes bitterness of the greens and make it actually taste sweet while you can reap the benefits of the dark leafy greens that you are adding.

Spinach or kale are the two most common types of leafy greens that are added to a vegan green smoothie.

What ingredients do you need to make a vegan mango avocado smoothie?

All smoothies are pretty simple to make and this dairy free mango avocado smoothie is no exception.

If you have a blender, there’s no reason you can get started on making this really simple smoothie right away.

The ingredients that you need to make this vegan green smoothie are:

    • Frozen Mango
    • Avocado
    • Kale
    • Chia Seeds
    • Dairy Free Milk
    • Cashews

How do you make a vegan mango avocado smoothie?

Inside of a blender, you are going to add all your ingredients.

We love our high powdered Vitamix because of the ability to really blend the ingredients; however our second favorite blender that is well within most people’s price range is this Ninja Professional Kitchen System (watch it for sales, it’s frequently ran for $99).

The most preferred way to add ingredients to a blender in order to preserve the blades is to add liquid, dry, then frozen ingredients on top.

This way, by the time the blades come in contact with frozen ingredients, it has already starting blending a good amount of your vegan green smoothie.

Should I use a frozen or fresh mango to make this smoothie?

Honestly, either a fresh or frozen mango will work in this smoothie.

Most people prefer to drink cold smoothies, and because of that will typically add ice.

Ice, however, is just frozen water, so by adding ice, it has a tendency to dilute the flavor profile of this vegan green smoothie.

One way to combat diluting it, is to add a frozen mango. This way your smoothie still gets cold, but without essentially adding water to it.
