Can I make this oil free, vegan avocado dressing?
Yes! We know that many vegans are oil free. While we personally love the slight hint of taste you get from the oil and the consistency it gives, it’s not needed if you are oil free.
If you have a very neutral tasting vegetable stock, you could use that in place, or you can only use water until you get to the consistency you desire. Adjusting the seasonings for the difference if using more water.

MY FAMILY LOVED THIS!!!! Great alternative to an oil dressing. We used it on our Buddha bowls and it was delicious!! ❤️🇨🇦
So happy you enjoyed it!
Oil-free was great! I was a bit confused by the end result at first. I was looking for a salad dressing but this seemed like more of a dip. I added lots of water, slowly like the recipe said. The flavor is so good and it didn’t water it down at all. This tastes very similar to guacamole to me. I accidently added too much cayenne pepper and I’m not mad about it! Thank you for this recipe. Very easy to make.
Glad you enjoyed it, sorry for any confusion!
Omg sooooo good! I found myself dipping into it with a spoon just to taste it’s amazing flavor through the day!
Hahaha, we can’t blame you! Thank you for leaving a review!
