What vegan burrito brands did we try?
Despite trying out 8 different brands, we know that there are even more out there. We just didn’t find them local to us. The brands that we did find and try are:
- Whole Foods
- Amy’s
- Ta Dah!
- Sukhi’s
- Daiya
- Alpha
- Cool Beans!
If we didn’t feature your favorite, let us know!
How did we do the vegan frozen burrito taste test?
It was really quite simple.
We cooked each burrito according to the packaged instructions and then ate them as close to the finishing time as possible for the most accuracy.
We were looking for mostly taste and texture. Our goal was to find the one closest to what we remember other frozen burritos that contain dairy and meat tasting like.
Alpha Vegan Burrito Review
Thoughts: We both agree that Alpha has a superior taste and fun flavors compared to the others. However, we also agreed that we would never purchase them again because of the filling to wrap ratio. It was almost like there were 3-4 wraps around some filling. If you watch the video we show that there are only 4-5 bites of filling per burrito.

Who was the winner?
We actually didn’t rank these in any order. We liked some for a variety of reasons. Overall Amy’s was definitely the favorite for us personally. We think the flavor of the Alpha ones is superior to all the other tastes; however, the filling to burrito ratio at $3-4 each is a complete turn off. The only ones we said we absolutely would not buy again were the Cool Beans brand.
