Silk NextMilk is one of the newest plant based milk alternatives! But how’s it stack up to the competitors? Watch out taste test review and learn more!
There are an insane amount of plant based milk alternatives on the market. Even though Silk has dozens of options themselves already, their Silk Nextmilk is the newest one to hit the shelves.
With this newest product, Silk Nextmilk is a directly competing with this new wave of plant based milks that are trying to not just be nut or nut milk alternatives, but come as close to dairy milk as possible. Not only that, but to give similar alternatives as dairy milk – 2% and Whole Fat options.
While there has been whole milk alternatives for awhile, Not Milk by Not Co was one of the first of these products to hit the US grocery market shelves and give both alternatives.
But can Silk Nextmilk stack up, not only to dairy, but also to the other plant based alternatives on the market?
Today we are dishing all the details on price, ingredients, and our opinion of the taste.

Silk NextMilk review:
If you’ve watched the video above, then you know our opinions already; however, if you don’t want to watch or you just want to read it first then here’s our Silk Nextmilk review.
Both options are good. We do think it’s a great competitor for Not Milk. We love that it is easier to find at our local Target than having to drive to Whole Foods or another store for the Not Milk (it also appears that some Whole Foods no longer carry it).
The price is high, especially when you are comparing it to nut milk alternatives like almond milk that you can find for under $2 or right above $2 in many places.
The calories are also much higher in Nextmilk vs some nut milk alternatives) so we know that is something that people look for.
That being said, it’s really delicious. The 2% option, we feel like we can taste the oats, but the Whole Fat version is rich and creamy and is perfect for making pasta sauces, ice creams, puddings, and even dipping cookies into! We think that this is one of the best milk alternatives that we’ve had.

I absolutely love the next milk. Silk just came out with a high protein cashew milk blend that’s also pretty good. I regularly get the 2% but switch it up with the whole milk too.
Thanks for this review!

Nice!

Thank you for taste testing. I would not buy because of the added sugar and oil, also the isolate soy. The amount of protein not high enough either.
