Frequently Asked Questions:
There is coconut oil in the slices and the boxed mac and cheese. The cheddar slices have soybean oil. The boxed mac and cheese also contains wheat. While it does not clearly specify on the packaging, it appears that the wheat is only from the noodles and not in the cheese sauce. Reach out to the company to confirm.
The boxed mac and cheese was $3.49 per box. The cheese slices were $4.99 per package.
We got these from our local Shoprite stores. There is no current store locator for these products on either Kraft or NotCo’s websites; however, the companies have stated the products rolling out throughout the US in early 2024, so keep a look out.

Does the Vegan Kraft Mac and Cheese look like the original?
Yes! It tastes so close to what we remember boxed mac and cheese tasting like. It was just as easy to mix with just having to cook the noodles and add the powder cheese product.
All of us in our house like the original cheddar flavor more than the white, but agreed the white was still good.
Overall Thoughts
There’s a few things that we want to call out.
- The cheese slices are probably the best we have ever had.
- We highly recommend trying all of the cheese slices for yourself.
- It also didn’t leave a weird sticky texture to your mouth which is great.
- There was no weird after taste with any of the products.
- While I wouldn’t do it often, I could eat these right out of the package.
- The box mac and cheese reminds you of your childhood. The taste is so similar.
- The slices are on par with other vegan cheese slices in terms of price. The box mac and cheese is much higher and would love to see it drop as it becomes more available.
