What is NotMilk?
NotMilk is a dairy free milk alternative that is created from the Chilean company NotCo.
The company uses artificial intelligence to create the absolute best and closest non-dairy milk alternative yet. They created an algorithm to learn about plant combination and then replicate animal products.
Their reason is because removing animals from food production continues to aid in protecting the planet.
On their website they do says “let’s reinvent the food industry – one delicious mouthful at a time”. One their Chilean website, they do also have mayo, ice cream and burgers.
So it will be interesting to see what else they invent and also if these products make their way to the US as well.
The result is less water, CO2, and energy than dairy milk.
What options does NotMilk have?

I really like the Not Milk whole milk and Chocolate milk. My husband continued to buy cow’s milk for his cereal, as he didn’t like any of my plant milks. But, once he tried Not Milk, he chose to use it, in place of cow’s milk, describing it as tasting just like “milk”. He loves the chocolate milk. This is the brand we buy, now.
I do want to offer one caution. My husband likes the chocolate milk so much, he took some to his sister’s house. His nephew recently drank some for the first time, and had an allergic reaction. The nephew has some sort of nut allergy (I don’t personally know, for sure) but nothing on the label concerned him, apparently. (Perhaps he has an unknown allergy?)
My husband and I, however, like the product(s) and will continue to buy them. 🙂

Definitely reach out to the company about the allergy concern. So glad you all enjoy it though.

Be careful with the new milk.
please research the ingredients before introducing to the public/ subscribers.
Although dipotassium phosphate is safe for healthy individuals, it can be dangerous for those with common health problems, including kidney disease, severe heart and lung disease, and thyroid problems. It’s used as a buffering agent in antifreeze, and in food as an additive to emulsify, stabilize, or provide texture.

There are a lot of food safe ingredients used in a lot of different ways. We only share about new vegan products. As with any products, website, ingredient, people will have to make their own decision if they want to consume it.
