How to Roast Red Peppers
Ingredients
- 1 red pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to broil.
- Rub olive oil all over the pepper.
- Place on a baking sheet and place under the broiler. Carefully rotating every 3-4 minutes until the entire pepper is blackened.
- Remove and cover with foil to trap the heat.
- Let cool to room temperature or leave overnight.
- Peel all the skin off, remove the stem and seeds. Discard.
- Slice red pepper into strips.
- Use immediately or place in an air tight container for 3-4 days.
