If you’ve read any of our recipes, I say it over and over again.  I like simple.  Really simple.  And this vegan peanut butter fudge doesn’t get more simple.

I don’t typically share a lot about us personally, but one of the reasons I like simple is because I’m a working, homeschooling, mother of 2 crazy non-stop little girls.  I don’t have a ton of time to spend in the kitchen whether it’s for dinner or dessert or anything in between.

And I know you don’t either.

Whether you have children or not, you life is still chaotic at times. Because I can relate to the fact that you don’t have time, it gives me the ability to really try and make things as easy as possible.

The only time a recipe will have overly complicated directions or more than 10 ingredients is when I really think that you can’t have it still be just as amazing without the ingredient or instruction the way it’s written.

Luckily for us (you and me) this vegan peanut butter fudge is one of the easiest dessert recipes out there.  In fact, it’s so easy, I almost hate calling it a recipe….almost.

How do you make vegan peanut butter fudge?

Once you get all the ingredients out. It’s going to take you about 5 minutes to prep this entire recipe . You will love how easy this is!

To start, you are going to put parchment paper down into a bread pan. You could also use an 8×8 pan, but it won’t come out as thick.  Set pan aside.

In a large mixing bowl, cream together your peanut butter and dairy free butter.  Then add in the vanilla and beat just until combined.

Finally, slowly add in the powdered sugar until everything is well combined.  Once that is ready, pour in the lined baking dish and spread out evenly with a spatula.

Set in the fridge for at least 2 hours, but up to overnight.  Cut & Serve or leave in fridge up to 30 days.

Can I make Top 8 Allergen free fudge?

This can be done, but it won’t exactly taste the same.

First, you can ensure that you get a soy free dairy free butter like Earth Balance soy free in the red tub or sticks.

Then, you just need to use a nut butter that is safe for you.  If you are allergic to peanuts and all other nuts, then sunflowers are your best bet.

If peanuts are your only allergy, but not others, try a cashew or almond butter, etc for a delicious spread.

Can I prep this vegan peanut butter fudge ahead?

Yes!  This vegan peanut butter fudge can be made up to 30 days in advance!  You want to make sure that you store it, once made, in an air tight container.

Also, that none of your ingredients will expire in the time frame that you are going to be consuming your treats.

the taste is great but the consistency is way off. we used country crock plant based avocado oil butter sticks and 2 cups of confectioners sugar. it’s more like a mouse or pie filling than fudge squares. it tasted great spread on shortbread cookies. I didn’t have time to make another batch so I stuck the sticky squares into cups and called it moose bites.

    1. Depending on the vegan butter and the peanut used, when stirring, some people are finding it’s more like frosting. Add the extra powdered sugar as needed with omit this from happening. Watching the video will help show the texture it should look like at the stages! Hope this helps

I gave this 3 stars because it tastes wonderful, but mine did not set up at all. I used I can’t believe it’s not butter vegan, so maybe that was the problem. It came out more like a frosting, so I will use it as a frosting next time.
