Also, in true Make It Dairy Free fashion, Credo announced right after shooting that they are releasing a new product, a vegan spray cheese, in Cheddar and Smoky flavors. We will look for those soon.

Credo Pasta Sauce Review

The Credo Pasta sauce comes in roasted garlic alfredo or alfredo rosa.

Roasted Garlic Alfredo Ingredients: Oat Milk (Water, Oat Flour), Cashew Butter, Nutritional Yeast, Agave Syrup, Sea Salt, Dehydrated Vegetable Blend (Garlic, Onion, Shiitake Mushroom), Pea Protein, Tapioca Flour, Xanthan Gum, Spices, Lactic Acid (Plant-Derived).

Alfredo Rosa Ingredients: Oat Milk (Water, Oat Flour), Tomato Paste, Pumpkin Seed Butter, Nutritional Yeast, Agave Syrup, Vinegar, Sea Salt, Dehydrated Vegetable Blend (Garlic, Onion, Shiitake Mushroom), Pea Protein, Tapioca Flour, Spices, Lactic Acid (Plant-Derived), Xanthan Gum.

Top 9 Allergens: The Roasted Garlic contains cashews. The Alfredo Rosa is the only product we tried from the Credo line that does not have a Top 9 Allergen listed.

Overall Thoughts: We didn’t really care for these. They were a little too tangy and at $8.99 a jar it was a bit expensive even for plant based. They do seem to go a long way in terms of being creamy and spreading across the pasta without a lot needed, so that was a win.

Quick Thoughts:

There’s a few things that we want to call out.

  • All of the products recommend being warmed first.
  • These were good dips, but they weren’t the favorite ones that we have tried overall, specifically it’s not cheesy enough and overall tastes a bit too tangy.
  • The blanco doesn’t taste like what we remember a blanco tasting like, but it’s a good dip just to have a dip.
  • Out of the pasta sauces, the rosa was our favorite, but with the price point of it, we wouldn’t buy these again.
  • We’d buy the dips again if we saw them and our favorites weren’t available as an option.
