bettergoods is a new store branded line of products from Walmart. You will only be able to find these products at their locations. Note that not every store has them or has all the flavors that we were able to find.

Overall bettergoods Vegan Ice Cream Thoughts

There’s a few things that we want to call out.

  • Overall, we enjoyed these products a lot.
  • These are very soft and creamy without any ice crystals which is wonderful for a plant based ice cream.
  • We love the flavors of these. Larisha like the salted caramel best, while Andrew enjoyed the Blueberry Swirl best.
  • We thought some of the flavors overall were muted and could have had a stronger flavor.
  • We would buy these again, especially for the standard lower price.

Thoughts: We actually didn’t like these. The blackberry tasted like grape and the lemon and lime taste like just zest and not an actual flavor.

Allergens: Wheat, Coconut.

Thoughts: This is more buttery than cheesy, but more cheesy than the white cheddar. It’s a liquid cheese than gets blended in after cooking the noodles. Overall, it would be great for kids, but we wouldn’t personally get for ourselves again.

Thoughts: Besides the ice cream, this was our favorite products. They are soft, moist, great sweetness and flavor. Would highly recommend.

  1. I was not aware of this being a new Walmart brand. I chose it for the price and flavor. I bought the pistachio salted caramel. It’s a wonderful flavor. The chunks of nuts and true pistachio flavor with creamy caramel that is not too much in the 16oz. So I’m VERY PLEASED 😄. I was trying to see where else to purchase this from when I stumbled upon the news of it being Walmart brand and your video about other offered products. I have not seen anything yet, although wasn’t even aware of them. I will be looking next time and try them out. Thank you for your reviews.

  2. I tried the plant based oatmeal salted caramel. supposed to be vegan. I have dairy allergies and I had a bad allergic reaction to this.
    I’m wondering if it was the caramel or “natural flavors” in it?
    I mean I don’t normally get that bad of a reaction either.

  3. I like their blueberry swirl. It sells out a lot at my walmart which is in the middle of a food drought as the only place. I helped someone get it from the very back today. I have GP and CP and bettergoods ice cream has less fat than many other offerings like So Delicious and such. 🙂
