Juicy Marbles Review walks through how this new vegan steak product stack up to the market and if they are worth the cost.
Update: This review was posted on 6/9/22. It was brought to our attention that Juicy Marbles made an insensitive post towards Asian on their platforms and we cannot currently recommend this product for those reasons.
Juicy Marbles is the newest meat to hit the shelves. But how good is it? Today, we’re seeing if this new Slovenian based company can stack up with others in our Juicy Marbles Review.
Juicy Marbles is a Ljubljana, Slovenia plant based meat company that is focused currently on creating various cuts of plant based meat that resembles steaks. Their only current product is a plant based filet mignon, but their website also lists tenderloin coming soon. The company launched in 2022 from our understanding.
As a welcomed addition to the plant based meat line up since most companies focus on crumbles or vegan chicken products, having steak options as vegans is joyous news for most.
Now, while Juicy Marbles touts itself as being the first plant based filet mignon, we do know of at least one other company, The Herbivorous Butcher, that has been creating them for a few years now.
Today we are dishing all the details on price, ingredients, and our opinion of the taste.
Make sure that you watch our taste test below and all the questions you may have should be answered below as well.

How do you cook Juicy Marbles filet mignon?
Juicy Marbles steak should be thawed before cooking. Salt all sides and then cooked for about 8 minutes in oil over medium high heat. The internal temperature should reach 165 degrees F before consuming.
What we found was that 8 minutes over medium high heat would have burned the steaks without reaching the internal temperature (at least on our gas stove). We chose to lower the temperature a bit once we pan seared to get to that internal temperature.
The steaks cooked nicely and were crisp on all sides. We would recommend cooking in vegan butter versus an oil for even better flavor.

Juicy Marbles review:
Overall, we were very much impressed with the products.
The vegan filet mignon steaks really are tender and juicy. There was no dryness to the dish at all. There is a chewiness and mouth feel that comes with nostalgia from previously eating non-vegan steak.
It does break down into strips when cooked and cut that reminds you more of shredded tenderloin that has been sitting in the slow cooker for hours, rather than being able to cut slices of it apart.
There was also a part of the packaging that said CCA 8 minutes when referring to cooking time.
The cost is still incredibly high and that’s a turn off for most consumers, including us for more than a VERY special occasion. We do hope as it gains traction, actually hits store shelves, and driving more sales that the pricing will come down on them.
To sum it up in one sentence, you will enjoy Juicy Marbles if you get a chance to try!
