You may not expect it but Target has a ton of vegan items! Learn about our favorite vegan food finds at Target and make sure to check out the video to see our taste test reactions.

Target is known for a lot of things. Their dollar spot. Cute clothes. Home furnishings. The ability to make people walk out with nothing they came in for.

But what they may not be known for is their vegan selection.

However, vegan finds at Target is actually really easy.

There are hundreds of vegan products and they are constantly increasing the number of things you can spot.

In fact, some of our own favorites can be found there, like fresh salsa, almond milk, and exclusive vegan Ben&Jerrys flavors.

We share ingredients, prices and of course our thoughts.

We weren’t expecting to find so many things and we probably should have split it up in 2 or 3 videos but we hope you check out the video too.

    And we tasted them all!

Read on to figure out our thoughts and make sure to watch the video for our taste test reactions.

HOW DO YOU FIND VEGAN PRODUCTS AT TARGET?

First, if you understand what we mean about long walks through the aisles of Target, then you know that often times you are able to find a lot of vegan items by just wandering through the aisles and looking for anything that remotely looks vegan.

We always love checking out Target’s website too. They have a landing page specifically for vegan food items at Target.

Because we wanted to make sure that we didn’t miss out on anything, we also cross referenced with news articles on VegNews.

    Vegan Food Finds at Target

Watch our Vegan Target Taste Test:

Because we had so many items, we split them up in the video into breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert, and snack times across the two days.

Below we will combine all the same category one section and all the drinks into one section.

    • Morningstar Veggitizers Sausage Pizza Bites
      • Price: $3.89 for 9.5oz bag (about 18 bites per bag)

    • Wholly Veggie! Buffalo Cauliflower Wings
      • Price: $5.99 for 13.2oz package
      • Opinion: We liked this a lot. We’ve also tried the Ranch ones. The only complaint on both is that the sauce when unfrozen is still clumpy and the texture based off that may be difficult to get passed. We preferred our homemade vegan ranch on the ranch ones but the buffalo was great.
      • Ingredients: Cauliflower: Cauliflower, Coating [Water, Panko Bread Crumb (Rice Flour, Pea Protein, Dextrose, Sodium Bicarbonate), Non Gmo Canola Oil, Yellow Corn Flour, Rice Flour, Potato Starch, Rice Starch, Sea Salt, Sunflower Oil, Spices, Yeast Extract, Ancho Pepper Powder, Xanthan Gum]. • Price: $6.99 for 4

      • Price: $6.99 for 12oz
      • Opinion: We loved this! It had a great taste. We actually made a recipe from Lightlife’s website using the product – Chipotle Tostados. They also apparently make burgers and some Target’s have that as well, but we didn’t see it at our store.
      • Ingredients: Water, Pea Protein, Canola Oil, Coconut Oil, Natural Flavors, Less Than 2% Of Modified Cellulose (From Plant Fiber), Sea Salt, Vinegar, Beet Powder (Color), Cane Sugar, Cherry Powder (To Promote Color Retention).

We hope you enjoyed this video and post about vegan food finds at Target! Leave a comment below with your favorite items or things you want to try and make sure to tell us what store to do next!

One last thing we do want to mention is that we went to 2 stores. The one store is in a higher income area and it appeared to have more vegan selections in that area.

We assume this is due to more vegan purchases in that area lead to more products being brought in, but thought it was worth noting that if you have multiple Target’s in your area to check out other ones.

Also, ask to speak with the grocery manager about getting a product on the shelves if you see it here but it’s not in your store.
