After it’s done, scoop it out and place in an air tight container in the fridge for up to 3 months, using as needed.
When making with a food processor, this dairy free parmesan cheese is finely crumbled, having almost the same consistency that would make it resemble a dairy free grated parmesan cheese. Depending on the size and quality of your food processor you may need to continue to slowly pulse until it’s the desired consistency you need.

Good question! We made this dairy free parmesan cheese recipe two different ways. When we were testing this recipe, we actually tried is with a variety of nuts, sunflower seeds, and hemp seeds. We came to the conclusion that our two favorite were cashews and sunflower seeds (trust me, the hemp seeds was no good).
If you are looking for a nut free Parmesan cheese, you’ll want to make the recipe with the sunflower seeds and remaining 4 ingredients. Blend as direct and bam, all done.
Similarly, if you are looking for a Top 8 allergy friendly parmesan cheese recipe, then you will just want to make sure to use the sunflower option and also that you double check that your nutritional yeast is free from allergens (we use this one and have had great results.

- ⅛ teaspoon onion powder
Instructions
- In a food processor, combine all your ingredients.
