I’ve been veganizing my own recipes for this year’s birthday season (we have 7 kids with at least one birthday a month from now until December (aside from October)) and wanted to check mine off of what I could find on Pinterest. You put into words exactly what I had planned to do and took away doubts and gave me confidence. You have a great recipe and great presentation. 🙂

So excited to hear that! Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, we really appreciate it! Enjoy all those birthdays!

Hello! For the 16 servings, would that be enough for a cake? Like the vanilla cake in your YouTube channel that you decorated with little spikes all over I think, or would I need more servings, if so how many? Also if you don’t mind me asking, do you think you know how many cupcakes 16 servings would frost? Thank you so much for these awesome recipes!!! 😆😆
LarishaCampbell
It depends on how intricate you want it honestly. For a simple frosting, one of these will icing 12 cupcakes. For the cake in the video, you should double the recipe Hope that helps!

Is this sturdy enough to pipe for decorating?
LarishaCampbell
Yes, it is

I’d love to know what milk you used?
LarishaCampbell
we have made with almond and oat, prefer oat, but like both! Hope that helps

Can I use vegan butter instead? Same measurements as the shorting? How much frosting is made with these measurements? If it says serving 16?
Thank You in advanced. I love that I came across your videos on youtube. The end results look delicious and the recipes looks easy.

Hi Tracy! We’re so excited you found us! If we ever take too long to respond here, please email us at [email protected] . We would be happy to help you. This recipe makes about 2 cups of frosting and you can use vegan butter instead (it’s just more of a buttercream flavor but still delicious!)
