Our Lindt Oat Milk Chocolate Bars Review covers price, nutrition, taste and texture of these new vegan chocolate bars!

While most people think cheese, ice cream and milk when wanting vegan options, we have to admit that chocolate is at the top of our list. Today we’re sharing our Lindt oat milk chocolate bars review.
Yes, it’s true. If you’re been wondering “does Lindt have any vegan chocolate”, you are now officially in luck.
Lindt is a Switzerland based chocolate company knows for their truffles, bars, and other sweets. They were found all the way back in 1845 and have been making chocolate perfection for many since there.
However, it wasn’t under recently that they started experimenting with vegan chocolate bar options.
When you think of milk chocolate bars, you’re looking for something sweet, creamy, and delicious. Often times as vegans, or even if you are just dairy free, you aren’t able to have that same experience and left looking at dark chocolate bars.
Lindt aims to change that market and with that released their new Oat Milk Chocolate Bars.
Today we are dishing all the details on price, ingredients, and our opinion of the taste.
Make sure that you watch our taste test below and all the questions you may have should be answered below as well.
*Note: Some dark chocolate Lindt bars have always naturally been vegan-friendly, but this is the first known attempt to market to a non-dairy base.

Frequently Asked Questions:
Lindt has released two flavors of their oat milk chocolate bars. The two flavors are:
-Classic
-Salted Caramel
These are supposed to be a creamy, milk chocolate variety of bars, so think classic milk chocolate and then a salted caramel milk chocolate.
Canada and the UK also had a Hazelnut variety released which is not currently available to the United States.
Yes, the Lindt oat milk bars are considered plant-based and vegan-friendly.
Full nutritional information below, but Lindt Oat Milk Bars in both varieties contain soy and almond. The salted caramel bar also contains wheat.
The classic Lindt oat milk chocolate bar is gluten-free and made with gluten free oats. The salted caramel Lindt oat milk chocolate bar is also made with gluten free oats but does use glucose derived from wheat in the caramel, making that one not gluten free.
While the price will vary depending on location, we paid $4.79 per 3.5oz bar.
At one point you could order then on the Lindt website for $4.29 per bar.
Lindt does not currently have the oat milk bars as part of their store locator. We found our at Acme. A google search for “lindt oat milk bars” showed us that Walgreens and Rite-Aid also carried them via Instacart information that pops up at the top.
We would suggest doing a google search like this to find them in your area.
Lindt Oat Milk Classic Chocolate Bar Review
Review Thoughts: We were shocked at how similar this tasted to what we remember milk chocolate being. Each bar contains 30 smaller breakable pieces similar to have dairy chocolate bars are.
The oat milk chocolate Lindt bars are creamy, smooth, and truly delicious. We highly recommend, especially if you’ve been missing that creamy milk chocolate taste.
Review Ingredients: Sugar, oat milk powder* (oat milk, maltodextrin), cocoa butter, almond paste, chocolate, soy lecithin (emulsifier), natural flavors. *gluten free oats
Manufactured on equipment that also processes products containing milk and other tree nuts.
Allergens: Soy, Almond.
Price: $4.79
Lindt Oat Milk Salted Caramel Chocolate Bar Review
Thoughts: If you love caramel and love milk chocolate, then you are in for an especially epic treat if you are dairy free or vegan.
The salted caramel oat milk bar from Lindt is just as creamy and smooth as the classic bar. Where the real treat comes in with the salted caramel bar is the nuggets of crunchy non-dairy caramel pieces.
It almost turns this bar into more of a crunch bar similar style because it’s not as straight smooth, but more smooth chocolate with bits of caramel. The texture difference is wonderful and we thoroughly enjoyed both of these.
Ingredients: Sugar, oat milk powder* (oat milk, maltodextrin), cocoa butter, salted caramel pieces (sugar, glucose syrup [from wheat], salt), almond paste, chocolate, soy lecithin (emulsifier), natural flavors. *gluten free oats.
Manufactured on equipment that also processes products containing milk and other tree nuts.
Allergens: Soy, Almond, Wheat.
Price: $4.79

I’m trying to figure out if they use castoreum in these bars. I know some vegan products do even though that technically would make it not vegan. (castoreum is usually hidden under the label “natural flavors.”)

We would recommend reaching out directly to the company themselves for a question like this.

I love both bars. Having a severe dairy allergy, I am thrilled to finally taste Lindt chocolate. It is pricey, but for me, worth it for a special treat. Now bring on the oat milk Lindt Balls!
LarishaBernard
Yes, I hope they make more!
