Vegan Cashew Hot Chocolate
This delicious vegan cashew hot chocolate recipe is so thick and velvety! It is beyond anything you have ever tried! Just 7 ingredients!
Servings 2 servings
To start making this, soak the cashews overnight in water or in boiling water for 30 minutes.
Drain the water from the cashews.
Add the cashews and all the other Ingredients to a high powdered blender and blend for 5 minutes until creamy and hot. Serve immediately.
*If you do not have a high powdered blender, you can put the milk and cashews in a regular blender or food processor and process the cashews, the strain and pulp pieces behind. Add the strained milk and cashews to a pot and turn on medium heat. Let the milk get warm for about 2-3 minutes. Then, add in the chocolate chips and stir until well combined. I prefer to use a silicone spatula for this so I can scrape the bottom and make sure the chocolate is very well combined. Next, add in the sugar and cocoa powder. Stir until the sugar has dissolved. Remove from heat and add in the vanilla and salt.
