How to Roast Broccoli

Ingredients

  • 1 head of broccoli
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  • Cut the broccoli stems apart from the florets. Save the stems for something else (see post for details)
  • Cut the florets into bite size pieces.
  • Place on a baking sheet. Drizzle with oil and salt and pepper. Toss to combine.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes or until easily pierced with a fork.
  • Let cool for 5 minutes. Serve.
  • Use immediately or place in an air tight container for 3-4 days.
