How to Roast Garlic

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
Remove any excess paper around the garlic, but do not peel the layer around the cloves.
Cut off the top ¼ of the bulb to expose the cloves.
Place the bulb in a piece of foil.
Drizzle the olive oil over the top.
Fold the foil up around the garlic and twist at the top to seal.
Place on a baking sheet and cook for 40 minutes or until a knife easily pierces through. *Time depends on size and type of garlic. Remove and let cool to touch.
Push up on the garlic cloves or squeeze them to get out.
Use immediately or place in an air tight container for 3-4 days.
