  • Bring a pot of salted water to a boil, and cook pasta until al dente.  Drain and reserve 1 cup of the pasta water. 
  • While pasta is cooking, mince garlic.  
  • Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. 
  • Add in the garlic and red pepper flakes and cook, stirring constantly for 3-4 minutes, ensuring that the garlic doesn't burn. 
  • Toss in the drained, cooked pasta along with salt. Gently stir to combine. 
  • Add in reserved pasta water if needed to loosen the noodles. *You likely won't need it all. 
  • Garnish with fresh parsley and vegan parmesan cheese if adding.
