In a large bowl, add flour, cocoa powder, brown sugar, baking powder, pumpkin pie spice, and salt. Whisk together.
Add the pumpkin puree, vanilla, and dairy free milk. Stir to combine with a spatula. Do not overmix.
Follow instructions on waffle maker for amount and length of time to cook.
Repeat until all the batter is used.
Serve with maple syrup or other optional toppings like our maple cinnamon butter.
